Announcement Audio

Save reusable audio clips for announcements through talkdown. Clips belong to the Timeline and are available to its authorised operators.

Open Record New Message from the operator console's deterrence menu, or open Settings, then scroll to Talkdown on a TetherBox.

Upload a Clip

Choose Upload File, enter a name, choose an audio file and select Add Audio File. The list updates when the upload succeeds. Supported formats are MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG, OPUS, M4A and AAC, up to 5 MB.

Use the play button to preview a clip, the progress bar to seek, and the download button to save a copy.

Record a Clip

Choose Record Audio, enter a name and hold the microphone button while speaking. Allow microphone access when your browser asks. Release to stop, preview the recording and select Add Recording to save it.

Remove a Clip

Select the clip's trash button. Delete and Cancel appear at that same control. Select Cancel to keep it, or Delete to remove it from the Timeline. The button shows progress and the row fades out after the server confirms deletion. A failed request leaves the row available for retry.
